During the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod on October 5, 2021, which was presided over by Honorable Maria Rosario Eufrosina “Chary” Nisce, City Councilor, the members unanimously approved resolutions that extend the deadline for the payment of:

a. Market stall fees, with 20% discount, until October 29, 2021; and

b. All business taxes for the fourth (4th) quarter, without penalty, until November 29, 2021.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod is aware and understands that taxpayers and market stall holders may not be able to promptly pay their taxes, fees, and charges because they are still coping with the adverse economic effects brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Sanggunian members unanimously and readily agreed to pass the resolutions, which will help ease the heavy burden that people of the City continue to experience on account of present restrictions on business and economic activities.
