Representatives from different civil society organizations, barangays and stakeholders attended the public hearing on the following four (4) draft Ordinances:

1. Draft Ordinance No. 2023-15, An Ordinance Enjoining Establishments and Local/Public Transportation in the City of San Fernando to Adopt QR Ph Digital Payments in Line with the Paleng-QR Ph Program (Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Industry)

2. Draft Ordinance No. 2023-13, An Ordinance Amending Sections VIII and IX of City Ordinance No. 2019-01, an Ordinance Creating the City Development Cooperative Office, Appropriating Funds therefore and for Other Purposes (Committee on Cooperatives)

3. Draft Ordinance No. 2023-18, An Ordinance Implementing the Anti-Mendicancy Law in the City of San Fernando, La Union (Committee on Social Services)

4. 4. Draft Tax Ordinance No. 23-01, An Ordinance Amending Articles A, B, C, E, J, M, R, S, T, U and V of Chapter 3; Articles A, B, C, D, E, G, and Include Articles H and I of Chapter 4; and, Articles C and D of Chapter 5 of the 2018 Revenue Code as Amended by Tax Ordinance No. 22-002 (Committee on Ways and Means)

After the public hearing, the Sanggunian will be conducting more meetings before said Ordinances will be released for adoption and implementation in the CIty.
