UPDATE: DEADLINE OF BUSINESS AND WORKING PERMIT RENEWAL EXTENDED UP TO MARCH 31, 2021

In today’s special session presided over by City Vice Mayor Alf Ortega, all the present members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod further extend the renewal schedule of business and working permits from January 30 to March 31, 2021.

As of this writing, the Local Economic and Business Development Office (LEBDO) has so far issued only a total of 1,408 business permits, from last year’s 7,722 registered businesses. Due to the imposed health protocols, LEBDO can only accommodate up to 200 clients per day from 8AM to 3PM for business renewal. While only a number of 300 applicants for individual working permits can be accommodated from 8AM to 5PM. Bookkeepers are serviced from 3PM to 5PM only.

“The extension of renewal date of business and working permits until March 31, 2021 will give sufficient time for the remaining business owners and working individuals to renew their respective permits and to avoid influx of people in the City Hall”, Vice Mayor Alf said.

In attendance at today’s special session were: City Vice Mayor Alf Ortega, Hon. Antonio Jucar, Hon. Monteski Ortega, and Hon. Rizaldy Laudencia.

Also present via Zoom were: Hon. Ernesto Rafon, Hon. Luzan Ortega-Valero, Hon. John Orros, Hon. Rudy Abat, Hon. Chary Nisce, Hon. Janwell Pacio, Hon. Arnel Almazan, Hon. Ram Ortega, Hon. Mark Anthony Ducusin and Hon. Quintin Balcita Jr.
